Yamaha launches official E-bike e-commerce platform in the US

While Yamaha has been involved in the e-bike market for three decades, the Yamaha bike brand was first introduced to the U.S. in 2017. Yamaha introduced a line of full-suspension e-bikes that were a favourite among consumers in the off-road segment, and followed up with targeted products for different uses such as commuting and fitness.

 

Yamaha Motor was the first to launch its first e-bike in 1993, fitted with the first generation of the company's iconic Power Assist System (PAS), a world-leading pedal-assist technology at the time that provided a great riding experience, and which was named the "PAS", and was regarded as one of the world's most popular e-bikes. The bike was named "PAS" and was regarded as the first of its kind in the world, and was successfully launched on the market. Since then, Yamaha's motors have also kept pace with the electrically-assisted products to bring riders a better riding experience.
